Amina Fayyaz
Trainee Solicitor
Amina joined our Liverpool office in September 2022, and is currently a Trainee Solicitor in our Corporate team.
The work Amina is involved in includes:
- Preparing documentation for Employment Tribunal hearings;
- Attending the hearings and supporting the solicitor or barrister carrying out the advocacy;
- Researching key points of law to assist with cases or client advices;
- Taking initial instructions from new clients;
- Attending client meetings with the solicitor;
- Providing advice to the client when required.
She works with HR departments, the owners or managers of SMEs and, directors/shareholders who require employment advice.
She studied law as an undergrad at the University of Manchester and then went on the complete an LPC and master’s in law (LLM) at the University of Law and obtained a distinction.
She previously worked as a paralegal at a large UK Law firm in the Real Estate department having some experience on commercial properties along with developments and residential matters.
Amina lives in Merseyside and fills her spare time by hiking and participating in charity runs.
