We are looking for a bright, diligent and enthusiastic Property Finance Solicitor to join our Property team. The team works in an open, supportive environment where collaboration and knowledge sharing are central. You’ll work closely with the rest of the team, gaining exposure to a variety of transactions and direct client contact from the outset. Start date: October/November 2025
Location: Liverpool city-centre office, with 5 days working in the office initially and the potential to work from home 1-2 days per week, following successful completion of probation period.

Key duties:
- Managing bridging and development finance transactions from instruction to completion with appropriate supervision and support from senior fee earners, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met and an excellent service is delivered.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating security documentation and ancillary documents for lender clients. Providing advice on security documentation for borrower clients.
- Managing property due diligence including title review, searches, and raising/replying to enquiries.
- Providing commercially focused advice to clients, balancing legal risk with commercial objectives tailored to each individual client.
- Coordinating with clients, introducers and the other legal professionals to progress transactions efficiently towards completion. Responding promptly and clearly to requests for updates and information.
- Liaising effectively with clients to build and maintain strong working relationships, delivering a high standard of client service.
- Keeping accurate and up-to-date file records in accordance with firm procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Contributing to business development by identifying opportunities, attending networking events, and supporting marketing initiatives.
- Staying informed on developments in property law, finance, and relevant regulatory changes.
Skills and experience required:
- Demonstrable experience in property finance transactions, including strong technical knowledge of loan documentation, security structures, and property due diligence.
- Proven ability to manage a busy caseload and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach, balancing legal risk with commercial awareness.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly to clients and colleagues.
- Commitment to delivering a high standard of client service and building long-term relationships.
- A personable and hard-working nature.
- A 2:1 or above university degree (or appropriate equivalent) and necessary solicitor qualifications (LPC or equivalent)
Salary: Salary will be dependent upon experience.
