Ian Munford

Ian Munford is Head of Asset Finance and one of the most reputed lawyers in the country specialising in this business area. After his degree in Law at Sheffield University, Ian joined Bermans in 1978.


Alex Chapman

Alex specialises in the non-contentious aspects of invoice finance assisting his clients on security matters, drafting of bespoke documentation, reviewing contracts for quality of debt issues and assisting invoice financiers when they fund acquisitions and buy-outs.


Dave Gledhill

Dave Gledhill is head of Bermans invoice finance and asset based lending practice. Dave joined Bermans in 1984 and has never left! He is a staunch Manchester City supporter being based in our Manchester Office!


Jonathan Berkson

Jonathan is an award winning, experienced dispute resolver. He works with clients to resolve complex disputes in the most cost effective and commercial way.


Sarah Wellicome

Sarah joined Bermans in July 2024 and is a Partner in our Asset Based Lending team based in Manchester. Sarah has specialised in banking and finance litigation for a number of years and she has a background in property and commercial litigation.


Alissa Marsh

Alissa is a Partner in our asset based lending team, acting for both financial institutions as well as corporate borrower clients. Since joining Bermans in 2017, she has undertaken a broad range of banking and finance work including invoice finance, asset finance and general corporate finance.


Rachael Killworth

Rachael joined Bermans in May 2023 as a Solicitor in our Asset Based Lending team based in Manchester. She is experienced in real estate finance, general corporate finance, invoice finance and asset-based lending.


Gayle Dimelow

Gayle is Litigation Executive and has over 25 years experience of producing and managing court process for a variety of commercial clients and has worked extensively for clients in the asset based finance market.


Anita Jackson

Anita joined Bermans in 1987 and has over 25 year experience in the recoveries arena has a deep understanding of finance and asset based recoveries procedures.


Nikhil Mehan

Nikhil joined Bermans in October 2022 as a paralegal in our Asset Based Lending team based in Manchester. He assists in asset finance and invoice finance work for a broad range of lenders.


Jenny Chapman

Jenny joined Bermans in April 2023 as a paralegal in our Asset Based Lending team based in Manchester.


Bhajan Khalsa

Bhajan Khalsa joined Bermans in October 2023 and is a Paralegal in our ABL team based in Manchester.
