Training Contracts

Bermans is committed to the future of the profession and each year takes on two or three trainee solicitors. Training contracts are offered in both our Liverpool and Manchester offices.

We always try to retain our trainees following qualification, and several of our partners and solicitors/associates are in fact former trainees. Our training principal Alex Chapman, is himself a former trainee.

Applications for training contracts/QWE commencing in September 2025, are now open and the closing date for applications is 31 January 2024.

We anticipate having 3 vacancies, 2 of which will be based in Liverpool and 1 in Manchester. Applications should be made by email to trainee.applications@bermans.co.uk attaching your CV and a covering letter setting out, amongst other things, your reasons for wanting to train at Bermans.

By the time your training contract/QWE commences, you will be expected to have completed the LPC or SQE 2.
