David Crank

David Crank joined Bermans in August 2025 and is a Solicitor and Head of Licensing.

David leads Bermans licensing offering. He advises leisure and hospitality clients across England, Scotland and Wales — including hotel and restaurant chains and sports clubs — on premises licensing for alcohol and entertainment.

He joined Bermans after 18 years at a large national firm and is based in the Liverpool office.

How David can help:

• Premises licences to permit the sale of alcohol and provision of entertainment (music, dance, film and theatre)
• Variations and update of existing licences
• Licensing strategy for hotel, restaurant and venue portfolios across England, Scotland & Wales.

David works closely with Cosmin Armene to support clients alongside real estate matters.

David is actively involved in rugby union and currently serves as chairman at Firwood Waterloo Rugby Club.
