Sarah joined Bermans in April 2026 and is a Solicitor in our Liverpool Employment team.

Sarah has extensive litigation experience acting for both Claimant and Respondent clients.

Her clients include a range of employers from SMEs to PLCs across a variety of sectors, including: religious institutions, retail, local authorities, the beauty industry, pharmacies, housing associations, manufacturing, construction, hospitality and education. Sarah also has experience in dealing with trade unions in the workplace.

Sarah practiced as an Employment Litigator from 2017 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2024.

Sarah has experience in working across both contentious and non-contentious employment work and specialises in:

• Complex litigation including multiple party matters, TUPE, trade union disputes, complex whistleblowing and discrimination claims, unfair dismissal, breach of contract and wages claims.
• Guiding employers through disciplinary, absence management and redundancy procedures.
• Drafting and negotiating Contracts of Employment, Directors Service Agreements and Settlement Agreements.
• Providing inhouse training to senior management teams and HR specialists on various aspects of employment law, including updates on the Employment Rights Act 2025, How to Prepare for an Employment Tribunal and the distinction between Protected and Without Prejudice Conversations.

In her free time Sarah enjoys reading, playing netball, wild swimming, paddleboarding and generally being outdoors with her dog – Daisy Doberman.
