Bermans continue to support local charities!

At Bermans, we continue to support our chosen charities – OnSide Youth Zones (The Hive and Mahdlo) as well as The Beacon Counselling Trust/Paul’s Place.

Onside supports young people by giving them somewhere safe to go, positive things to do, and someone trusted to talk to and empower them to help build their resilience, skills, ambition and knowledge for adult life.

The MAPD Group have a strong connection with the charity and we share values and commitment to creating opportunities and a positive environment for neurodiverse people to build a successful career.

Bermans Liverpool office continue to support The Beacon Counselling Trust (Beacon Counselling Trust)/Paul’s Place charity. This charity is a free specialist postvention bereavement counselling service, for those bereaved by suicide. We have a strong personal connection with the charity following the loss of a much loved friend and colleague to suicide.

In recent months, we have taken part in 10k runs, bake-offs, phone sales (which raised a fantastic £1300!), as well as Christmas volunteering at Mahdlo (which involved preparing Christmas present hampers, Christmas eve boxes and decorating for the Christmas fair), plus a £50 to £500 snack box challenge (currently at around £300!) and so much more!

We also have a padel event with Mahdlo coming up as well as a Summer hamper raffle in support of Paul’s Place.

Supporting our local communities is important to us all at Bermans and we look forward to taking part in more fundraising activities this year in support our chosen charities.
