Ruby works in the Creditor Services team, focusing on debt recovery and litigation proceedings for Invoice Finance Providers, SMEs, and Funders.
Ruby studied Law (LLB) at Durham University, which included a year abroad in Berlin, and went on to achieve a Distinction in her LPC MSc in Law, Business and Management from the University of Law.
Outside of work, Ruby enjoys expanding her legal expertise and enjoys attending concerts, travelling, and learning German in her spare time.
Maggie joined Bermans in 2005 as an Office Junior and is now a Litigation Assistant in our Creditor Services team.
Maggie started her career at Bermans as an Office Junior before becoming a Legal Secretary, a role in which she which she stayed in for many years. Maggie predominantly deals with prelegal correspondence and process driven claims and enforcement.
Gayle joined Bermans in August 2017 and is a Litigation Executive in our Creditor Services team.
She has over 25 years experience of producing and managing court process for a variety of commercial clients and has worked extensively for clients in the asset based finance market.
Gayle predominantly deals with undefended and process driven claims.
Anita joined Bermans in 1987 and has over 25 years of experience in the recoveries arena and a deep understanding of finance and asset based recoveries procedures.
In addition to producing and managing court process for a variety of commercial clients Anita has her own caseload of undefended and defended small claims litigation primarily for the asset based lending industry.
Jonathan is an award winning, experienced dispute resolver. He works with clients to resolve complex disputes in the most cost effective and commercial way.
He qualified as a solicitor in 1990 following his degree in law.
Jonathan’s commercial recovery work for asset based lenders has added to the firms niche in this area of practice.
Jonathan has been recognised as a top lawyer by the Times as their “Lawyer of the Week” in September 2011, and Legal Business Magazine who highly commended him for “Lawyer of the Year” in 2012. Jonathan was the Liverpool Law Society’s “Solicitor of the Year” in 2013.
