GDPR Update
Funders should be well advanced in their preparations for the introduction of the EU General Data Protection Regulation on 25 May 2018.
The FLA recently circulated some important information relating to its discussions with the main Credit Reference Agencies, who in turn have been liaising with the Information Commissioner’s Office and a standard Credit Reference Agency Information Notice has now been approved.
The Credit Reference Agencies have also developed a sample Fair Processing Notice for use by Funders.
