Maggie joined Bermans in 2005 as an Office Junior and is now a Litigation Assistant in our Creditor Services team.
Maggie started her career at Bermans as an Office Junior before becoming a Legal Secretary, a role in which she which she stayed in for many years. Maggie predominantly deals with prelegal correspondence and process driven claims and enforcement.

Skills and experience required:
You will already have some experience of working in an insolvency team, but this is not essential.
Ability to work to deadlines, to prioritise and manage a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters.
Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative where appropriate.
Strong client and legal skills and an eye for detail.
An interest in starting to build your own network and to contribute to business development initiatives.
Excellent organisation, time-management and communication skills.
A personable and hard-working nature and the ability to work well with others.
The Administration Assistant will hold responsibilities in both secretarial and administrative roles. They will receive guidance and training from secretaries and the Office Manager.
Friday marked the retirement of Andrew Henderson, a partner in our Asset Based Lending litigation team, who has been with Bermans for 39 years – one hell of a shift!
