Maggie started her career at Bermans as an Office Junior before becoming a Legal Secretary, a role in which she which she stayed in for many years. Maggie predominantly deals with prelegal correspondence and process driven claims and enforcement.

New Vacancy – Insolvency Paralegal (Manchester)
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Insolvency Paralegal to join our Insolvency team.
The existing team is friendly, hard-working, welcoming and we are seeking a like-minded individual.
Start date: as soon as possible
Location: Manchester city-centre office, with 5 days working in the office initially and the potential to work from home 1 day per week, following successful completion of probation period.
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: Full-time
Skills and experience required:
- You will already have some experience of working in an insolvency team, but this is not essential.
- Ability to work to deadlines, to prioritise and manage a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters.
- Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative where appropriate.
- Strong client and legal skills and an eye for detail.
- An interest in starting to build your own network and to contribute to business development initiatives.
- Excellent organisation, time-management and communication skills.
- A personable and hard-working nature and the ability to work well with others.
- 3 A Levels in C grade or above (or equivalent).
Salary: Salary will be dependent upon experience
